    We’ve created a comment form that feels like an Internet museum.
The Emoji button is hidden on mobile devices (using wp_is_mobile() for user agent detection).
    Feel free to customize the button colors — either with additional CSS or by editing the code directly.
You can also easily add or edit items in the Emoticon and Kaomoji palettes. The screenshot shows all buttons forced into their hover state with a custom hover color, and Retro Colors opened at the same time. It’s a bit over the top, I know. The default hover color is the gray tone shown on the Retro Colors button in the screenshot.
    As for other customizations, the comment form now relies on the browser’s built-in validation when submitted with no text, so users no longer see the default WordPress error screen. Duplicate comments from the same user are allowed, and image files can be attached. Attached images appear as small thumbnails in the comment and open in a lightbox when clicked.😊
